Doron Klein Deputy CEO AFI Europe and CEO AFI Europe Romania & the Czech Republic AFI Europe

Doron Klein joined AFI Europe in 2008 and since 2011 served as CEO of AFI Europe’s operations in the Czech Republic and Germany. Since 2018 Doron was appointed as the CEO of AFI Europe in Romania and in 2023 was appointed also Deputy CEO of AFI Europe.

Doron Klein has more than 20 years of experience in Real Estate, operating in both Central and Eastern European real estate markets.

Doron has an MBA degree from the University of New York in Prague, Czech Republic and he is fluent in Hebrew, English and Czech.

Dieter Knittel Managing Director, Head of CEE Deutsche Pfandbriefbank

Dieter Knittel is Managing Director and Head of International Real Estate Finance for Central and Eastern Europe at pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank. Dieter is responsible for the bank’s lending portfolio in the region. The regional focus is on Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Dieter has been active in the CEE market for more than twenty years, including five years based in Warsaw as Head of Credit and Senior Risk Management.

Sebastian Kieć CEO AFI Poland

Sebastian Kieć joined AFI Poland in 2007 as CFO then was promoted to COO and in 2010 was nominated as CEO and Poland Country Manager. His main responsibilities are focused on two strategic real estate segments: office properties and residential properties, including newly developed segment of yielding residential properties. Sebastian has over 20 years experience in real estate market.

Before joining AFI EUROPE Poland served as CFO in real estate company BSR EUROPE Poland, prior to this in PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and advisory department and in Coca-Cola in controlling department. Thomas Schoutens Executive Chairman Koramic Real Estate & Investment

Thomas Schoutens is a seasoned real estate executive with over 30 years of experience in Central and Eastern Europe.
He is currently serving as Executive Chairman and Member of the Management Board at Koramic Real Estate & Investment NV (Belgium) and OKRE Development (Poland). He was previously serving as CDO and Member of the Executive Committee at Atrium European Real Estate (G City) and formerly Investment Director / Head of Real Estate and Member of the Executive Committee at Carrefour Polska. He also hold key executive roles in POC Partners (Darlowo) and within the construction group CFE.

His experience spans various sectors, including real estate and investments, making him a prominent figure in the industry. Schoutens is based in Poland and has built a significant professional profile through his extensive career in real estate development and investment strategies.

Maciej Runkiewicz President Kajima Poland

Maciej Runkiewicz has been working for Kajima from the beginning of its operation
in Poland, i.e., since 2001. Here, at the beginning, as the Deputy General Director,
he was responsible for the construction of production facilities. Currently, as a
member of the Management Board and President of Kajima Poland, he is
responsible for the implementation of company policy and all aspects of the
company’s operation.
Maciej Runkiewicz graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw
University of Technology, where he obtained a master’s degree in civil engineering.
He holds a licence to manage construction works and design qualifications in the
structural and civil engineering specialty, as well as an MBA (Master of Business
Administration) degree from the Warsaw University of Technology. He is a member
of the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers and the Executive Club.

Hubert Abt Founder & CEO workcloud 24

Hubert Abt has been working in the real estate industry for over 30 years. He worked as a developer and later in the land banking sector and provided equity and Mezzanine capital for various real estate projects. In 2013 he founded NEW WORK Offices in Budapest, which provides various flexible office solutions. Since then he developed the business model further and grew the company to today 16 locations in 3 countries with approx. 43.000 sqm which brings NEW WORK in the top 3 list in CEE. Hubert now leads the company as CEO while focusing on investor relations and franchising. Since December 2020 Hubert is also a founder and CEO of workcloud24, which provides digital solutions for workforce and workspace management.

Piotr Zając Managing Partner | Tax Adviser Leader of Real Estate practice in CEE Accace Poland

Piotr Zając is the Managing Partner at Accace Poland, where he leads a team of lawyers and tax advisors delivering innovative projects in the fields of tax, legal, and transaction advisory services. His primary focus is transaction advisory and representing clients in disputes with public administration authorities.

Piotr has extensive experience in tax advisory, particularly in property tax, in the context of both transactions and disputes with tax authorities. He has led numerous optimization projects for assets such as golf courses and hotels, and has provided advisory on the tax classification of energy, transmission, and sanitary infrastructure. His expertise also includes resolving complex interpretative issues concerning the definitions of structures, buildings, and taxable technical infrastructure.
Piotr has advised on a number of landmark projects, including Złota 44, the Manufaktura shopping center, Factory Outlet Gliwice, Atrium 2, and the Lakeside complex.

Marek Dobrzycki Partner Panattoni

Marek Dobrzycki – Partner at Panattoni

Marek Dobrzycki is a Partner at Panattoni and a principal driver behind the developer’s dynamic growth in Poland. Having joined the company in 2007 – almost from the very beginning of its operations in the country – he now oversees business across Poland’s key regions. He is responsible for Panattoni’s core areas of activity and plays a pivotal role in shaping the developer’s structures in Poland. Georg Blaschke is an educated banker and holds a university degree in business administration. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance in USA, UK, France, Benelux and CEE. At professional posts in London, New York and Frankfurt he has been responsible for loan origination, credit management and business development. Since 2010 he is responsible for Real Estate Finance in Poland at Helaba and has originated and underwritten financings of about EUR 5.0 billion.

With over fifteen years of professional experience in the commercial real estate sector, I have worked alongside both local stakeholders and major international funds and agencies. My primary focus has been in the retail segment, covering the full spectrum of real estate operations—from market analysis and site selection to commercialization, asset management, and acquisition support.

 

James Turner Group Managing Director Balmain Group

James has spent almost 30 years in the property industry, and prior to establishing his own business in 2003, held various senior roles with Westfield (over a successful 10 year career there), culminating in co-establishing their European business in 1998 in London. James has been directly involved with over 2.7m Sqm of shopping centre assets (worth approximately £8.7 billion (€9.8 billion)), over his career.

James joined the Westfield Group in 1993 and has covered many disciplines including finance, investment, development and leasing and held the responsibility for the management of Westfield’s Australian joint ventures with international investors. In 1999 at the age of 32, James along with Peter Miller, was one of three key Westfield personnel transferred to the UK to spearhead the £6Bn+ assets under management European business, taking responsibility initially for finance, management and leasing. During that time, James took responsibility for both business development and the establishment of the systems and operations for the group.

After leaving Westfield in 2003, James established the Balmain Asset Management Group, a multi-disciplined advisory, management business and operating partner focussed on retail and leisure assets in Central Europe. In 2019 this became Sierra Balmain, a joint venture between James, his 3 partners and the global real estate services business, Sonae Sierra. Sierra Balmain employs 155 people and has been successfully operating in Central Europe for 20 years and has €1.3bn+ assets under management with a wide variety of leading international investors and banks.

James attended Avondale College (Newcastle) completing a Bachelor of Business degree before qualifying as a CPA. Prior to his Westfield career, James worked at Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation in Australia in a senior finance capacity. Over his 30+ year career James has worked in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and executed transactions across Europe, the USA and in Canada.

Vladimír Bolek Member of the board - Portfolio management IAD Investments

Vladimír Bolek studied at Comenius University in Bratislava and Law and economics at Nottingham Trent University.
He began his career in 1993 in public administration at central state administration level in Bratislava. Later, after the transition to the private sphere, he became asset manager specializing in real estate investments. After the establishment of specialized real estate mutual funds in Slovakia in 2006, he became the portfolio manager of specialized real estate fund in Erste Asset Management in Slovakia. In Erste asset management he also created and managed portfolios for private banking department.   In 2008 – 2009 also participated in portfolio management of corporate real estate company Slovnaft as. In 2010 he became a portfolio manager of the „First real estate fund“ of IAD Investments and deputy of several real estate companies incorporated in the structure of the real estate fund of IAD Investments. In 2015 he was promoted into IAD Investments board as member of board responsible for portfolio management department and real estate investment.

Vladimir Bolek is also a contributor to professional publications dealing with the issue of investment and asset management of real – estate in Slovakia and CEE region.

Waldemar Grabka Senior Director EQT Exeter

Waldemar Grabka has more than 20 years of real estate experience and as part of EQT Exeter is responsible for sourcing investments and procuring build-to-suit transactions in Poland. He joined EQT Exeter in the US in 2014 and was one of the founding members of EQT Exeter Europe where he helped set up the firm’s operations. Prior to EQT Exeter, he worked at OBI Poland, where he started in 2002 as Acquisition Manager and in 2007 was promoted to the Head of Real Estate to lead the company’s acquisition, construction and property management teams. Mr. Grabka holds an M.A. in Economics from the Wroclaw University of Economics and a M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Mr. Grabka is a Polish national and is fluent in Polish, English and German.

Anita Rajchelt Principal Transactions Manager Amazon

Anita Rajchelt is Real Estate Asset & Transaction Manager in Amazon, based in Warsaw. She is responsible for the management of Amazon’s real estate portfolio in Poland and involved in RE transactions supporting Amazon’s expansion in the region.
Prior to joining Amazon, Anita was Portfolio Manager at TFI PZU, a Polish Investment Fund, active in all industry sectors, where she was responsible for new acquisitions as well as coordinating development processes. Anita has also gained extensive professional experience in Asset Management and Investment Transaction Services, having hold a number of senior positions in Cushman & Wakefield and King Sturge, international property agencies.
Anita earned a master degree in Finance and Banking with faculty in Real Estate and Investment at University of Lodz. In addition she graduated postgraduate studies in Property Appraisal and Management at Sheffield Hallam University. She is also a qualified RICS surveyor and a member of INREV.

Łukasz Skowroński Managing Director Global Development LLP

Lukasz Skowronski is a seasoned Real Estate professional with extensive international experience in the commercial and private equity sectors. With a career spanning major companies in Central and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia, Lukasz has established himself as a trusted leader in the industry.

Since 2006, Lukasz has demonstrated his expertise in executive leadership, both in entrepreneurial ventures and corporate environments. His versatile skill set includes asset/portfolio/property management, corporate real estate, leasing/brokerage (commercial and residential sectors), as well as sales of investment properties and residential projects. A graduate of the Cracow University of Economics, Lukasz holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, specializing in Real Estate Management & Investment. He has consistently pursued professional development opportunities, actively participating in relevant conferences, projects, and research initiatives focused on the Polish, European, and Asian real estate markets.

In 2012, Lukasz moved to Kazakhstan, where he became an integral part of the Global Development team of the Verny Capital Group in Kazakhstan. Taking on the role of Commercial Director, he assumed responsibility for strategic and operational management of the property portfolio. Lukasz’s hands-on approach enabled him to drive the properties’ strategic positioning, engage in business planning, spearhead investments, and lead PR & marketing efforts. In recognition of his contributions, he was promoted to the position of Managing Director in July 2015.

Lukasz’s professional achievements include esteemed memberships and designations in industry organizations. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a CPM® (Certified Property Manager®) designation holder from IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management, Chicago), and a recipient of Fellowship status (FRICS) from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, becoming the youngest RICS Fellow in Central and Eastern Europe and the CIS.

Svetlozar is an experienced real estate professional and entrepreneur with a strong international network and over a decade of industry expertise. He specializes in investment transactions and development advisory across the residential and commercial sectors.

He is the founder of SVS Capital, a Sofia-based consultancy active in Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Northern Greece, advising on cross-border real estate and financial projects.

From 2015 to 2019, Svetlozar served as Investment Director at RCapital Ltd (Isle of Man), where he led property investments in Bulgaria, Poland, the UK, and across the Balkans, collaborating with global investors and top-tier developers.

He began his real estate career in 2007 with an internship at Forton International / Cushman & Wakefield, working on few major transactions, including the €1.08 billion acquisition of BTC by AIG Global.

Rafał Proczek Managing Director, Head of Asset Management INVESTIKA

Rafał Proczek – highly accomplished real estate executive with over 15 years of experience in investment, asset management, and transaction execution across Central and Eastern Europe. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director and Head of Asset Management Poland at Investika Polska Services, where he oversees a commercial real estate portfolio exceeding 430,000 sqm. Previously, he led Polish operations at Greenstone. Before that, he held senior roles at BNP Paribas Real Estate. He is also the founder and organizer of the Real Estate Belgrade Exhibition and Conference (REBEC) a prominent real estate event in Belgrade, Serbia, established in 2008. REBEC brings together investors and stakeholders with the most prominent and recognized international lawyers, bankers, consultants, urban designers from the  real estate industry to discuss and show case the latest trends, and opportunities present in the SEE region. Eva graduated with an MsC from the prestigious Corvinus University in Budapest and she has over 20 years of experience in real estate financing. She spent seven years covering the Hungarian market where she partnered with well known international developers and investors to execute large deals. Upon her relocation to Vienna, Eva worked on various significant CEE and SEE projects covered by the UniCredit Group, including Turkey,  Ukraine. She has extensive experience with a broad range of real estate financing transactions.

Krystian Modrzejewski is Chief Investment Officer for New Gate Investment in Poland, bringing extensive experience in retail acquisition, strategy, asset management, and leasing. Marek Masny is the founder of Brown Peak, an independent real estate advisory and agency firm established in 2017. Urszula Matej-Bil Board Member, Marketing and Communications EPP

A communications and marketing professional with over 18 years of experience in brand building, stakeholder relations and strategic narratives that support business objectives. As a Member of the Management Board of EPP – Poland’s largest shopping centre asset manager – she oversees internal and external communications, marketing, public affairs, loyalty programmes and corporate social responsibility initiatives, integrating brand positioning with business performance. She serves on the Board of the Polish Council of Shopping Centres (PRCH), actively contributing to industry development. Her career includes senior roles at OneMulti and Questia agencies, where she led integrated campaigns for clients spanning real estate, retail, finance, FMCG and technology sectors. A graduate of master’s and doctoral programmes in management and marketing at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Maciej Grabski CEO/ Chairman of the Board Olivia Centre

Maciej Grabski is an entrepreneur, investor, and visionary closely associated with the city of Gdańsk. In 1998, he co-founded Wirtualna Polska – one of the first Polish internet portals. After selling his shares in 2005, he successfully transitioned into real estate development and construction investment.

His most significant venture is Olivia Centre – the largest Class AA office complex in Poland, located in Gdańsk-Oliwa. Launched in 2010, the project comprises eight buildings with a total area exceeding 230,000 m², including Olivia Star – the tallest building in the region (180 m). Its top floors feature a publicly accessible observation deck, restaurants – including the Michelin-starred Arco – and a conference center. Olivia Centre is not only a business space but also a hub for educational, cultural, and sports events, serving as a modern landmark of the Tri-City metropolitan area.

Maciej Grabski envisioned Olivia Centre as a place that fosters innovation, collaboration between companies, and community integration. Olivia works closely with universities, hosts events for entrepreneurs, and promotes Gdańsk as a modern business hub. These efforts have contributed to the development of the Tri-City as an attractive destination for both domestic and international investors.

In recognition of his achievements, Maciej Grabski was awarded the St. Adalbert Medal in 2024 – one of the highest honors bestowed by the Gdańsk City Council.

Dorota Latkowska-Diniejko CIO, Co-Founder REINO GROUP Holding

Dorota is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and holds postgraduate qualifications in Property Valuation from both the Warsaw University of Technology and Sheffield Hallam University. She is a licensed property valuer and holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and the Carlson School of Management.

With over 25 years of experience in the Central and Eastern European real estate market, she began her career at USAID, contributing to the development of Poland’s mortgage loan system. She later established the first commercial and residential research teams at Price Waterhouse Nieruchomości and expanded Knight Frank’s Polish operations, ultimately becoming partner and shareholder. At Knight Frank, she led the Capital Markets division, advising on major investment transactions and financial structuring.

She has worked with leading developers, including Von der Heyden Group, and advised numerous property funds such as Arka BZ WBK FIZ, BPH FIZ SN, and global institutions including Credit Suisse, DEKA, Pramerica, and Invesco. Her transaction experience spans capital raising, debt financing, acquisitions, due diligence, and legal structuring, with a total deal value exceeding EUR 3 billion.

In 2010, she co-founded the REINO Group, where she serves as Chief Investment Officer. The group, through REINO Partners and REINO IO Logistics, manages investment platforms in the office and logistics sectors with a portfolio exceeding EUR 650 million.

An experienced manager with expertise in private equity, investment banking, real estate, investment fund management, and fundraising.

Since 2025, he has been with Polish Development Fund TFI, where, as managing director and deputy CIO, he is responsible for overseeing the implementation of investment strategies for managed private funds (including PRS and foreign expansion).

Before joining PFR TFI, he was responsible for the creation and operation of Newport by Panattoni, a Luxembourg-based fund investing in warehouse properties across Europe.

Previously, as an executive director at Haitong Bank, he was responsible for structuring and implementing investment banking transactions (M&A, DCM and structured finance). At the SINO-CEEF private equity fund, he managed the Central and Eastern Europe region, where he was involved in fundraising, origination and relations with the governments in the region. He also gained experience in corporate banking at ICBC and Citi.

He is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, and Henley Business School in the United Kingdom.

George Mula is a holder of the Silver Cross of Merit (Civil). He has over 35 years in the Polish market and over a €1m of real estate transactions, in every sector, behind him, historically partnering with Europa Capital and then Blackstone. Chairman of Integrated Finance Group and Non-Executive Chairman of RCM Enterprises Poland, he continues to be active in the market today.

Artur Niski, who joined ING in 2007, is currently heading real estate sector client coverage team at ING Poland. Artur has more than 20 years of professional experience in relationship management, real estate lending and portfolio management.
